DIN68972

An unsentimental comment on the German preference for standardisation: 'DIN68972' is a specification by the ‘german institute of standardisation’ (Deutsche Industrie Norm) that corresponds to formwork panels for casting concrete.
Characteristic elements of these panels are the metal C-profiles that mount the solid wood on both sides. Building upon these elements and playing with their dimensions, this threepart work is a formal study of the aesthetic possibilities that laies within this simple joint of steel.
